		<description>Technically, Capt. America does have super powers, thanks to the super-soldier serum pumped into his body during WW2. The original Cap could bench around 800 pounds, faster, stronger, better reflexes and senses than any normal human, even at peak levels, could manage. Of course a later stand-in Cap could bench 10 tons, but he didnt last as Cap long and the original came back. But still, Cap America does have super powers, just not flashy stuff like bench pressing tanks or flying or eye beams. *smile*

As for army rank, Capt America was turned away from the army for not being healthy enough, until they got him in the experiment and turned him into the super soldier. And i think when he played normal soldier once in awhile to blend in and go undercover, he was a PFC, perhaps a corporal.

personally, i always wondered how he kept from chafing in that uniform. It was supposed to be chainmail to give him added protection from bullets and knives. Chainmail isn&#039;t exactly comfy to run about it all day... *grin*</description>
