Whew!  What an interesting life I’m leading this month!  I almost can’t even wrap my mind around it still, even though I am now about halfway through my trip.  What is my life like here?

I’m living in a beautiful house in Glen Park with a hot tub and massage room, as well as a gorgeous, amazing living room.  It’s so me here, you wouldn’t believe all of the peacock feathers and goddess gear.  There is almost, and I say this with love, if not too much goddess gear, more than I would have in my own ideal space.  But I love the intensity of that energy as something to bask in for a while.

I actually spend the most time, however, in my own strange campsite nest I have set up in the garage, which is usually used for storage.  It is so not what you think of as posh goddess temple space!  But I am sort of a tomboy goddess from time to time, and I don’t care as much about what is in a space as that it can be my space as much as possible.

Except… it’s not quite comfy enough to let my guard down and write in.  It’s been okay for my busy, distracted, settling in period, but I need a space that is very isolated, safe, warm and inspiring to really move projects forward and do e-mail.  So, I’m going to be trying to get a tent set up!  One is likely to be delivered soon and I’m going to do a massive reorganization of my stuff here, laundry, yada yada yada.  Then I think we’ll see more creative productivity!

Socially things are going great!  Having the hot tub here makes my plan to have people come visit me a complete success, which is important, because I live on top of what is here is called a hill, and what at home is called the Black Diamond trail at the local quaint ski place.  Speaking of snow, the value of dodging weather has turned out even more in favor than I expected — San Francisco is warmer than I hoped and the Indiana winter is harsher than I feared.  San Francisco is currently 58 degrees and partly cloudy, Bloomington is 27 (20 with wind chill) and cloudy.  That’s fucking hell, people.

Having said that — I’m going outside!  More when I get my cozy new set up rocking!
