I had a lovely day shopping yesterday, here’s a shot of a few of the results. I am in San Francisco until the 25th having a wonderful time as usual! Despite being on vacation, I was able to work out a small problem with the original release of “A Simple Command”, a perfect version is now available. For those very Good early adopters who received the original version, please let me know if you have not yet received the updated file with the name that ends in “rev”, it will be my pleasure to get it to you!
As often happens in my travels back and forth, I have been terribly deficient in acknowledging many lovely gifts and e-mails that have been sent. It’s a tricky thing, I know my Treasures are not trying, as one very pleasing specimen put it, to “train [me] to send thank you notes.” But I both want, and enjoy the benefits of, making sure you know how happy you make me! So, please, please remember that I’m always thrilled with attention and spoiling, it’s simply more chaotic to track than I ever would have imagined. I recall a Deep Thought by Jack Handy that said, essentially, “If I had time to send a thank you note to everyone who sent me a nice, expensive present, what a wonderful world that would be.” It cracks me up how close that is to being true for my life, what a delightful fantasy come true my life is!
Things are beginning to calm down a bit, however, so it’s time for another round of checking in, so here’s my game: I’m going to be on special alert for messages with the subject line, “I was wondering…” and get out quick, even if short, replies to each. This is my favorite form of respectful checking in with me, and helping me organize all of the responses I want to make, being asked “I was wondering if you received my [gift, note, request, praise, etc.].
The important thing is, I never want to find myself in a position where I feel guilty for being showered with MORE adoration!
Sweets!
